Jaime Wesson / Women's Ministry

Nathan & Jaime Wesson are the lead pastors of UNT Chi Alpha and have been ministering to college students since they graduated from college at Stephen F. Austin University in 2000. Nathan received a bachelors degree in Music and Jaime in English. After graduating, Nathan and Jaime studied campus ministry as interns for two years at Western Washington University. They pioneered Chi Alpha at UNT in 2002. Nathan’s primary roles in Chi Alpha are ministry staff director, internship director, and the primary speaker for Realize services. Jaime’s roles in Chi Alpha include oversight of women’s ministry, mentorship, and teaching.

Matt Liberio / Associate Pastor

Matt & Allison Liberio are the associate pastors and have been part of the UNT Chi Alpha community since joining as freshmen in 2004. Matt and Allison both graduated from North Texas, Matt in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Sociology, Allison in 2011 with a doctorate of Audiology. Matt joined the Chi Alpha staff team full time after graduating and has held a variety of responsibilities. His primary roles today are oversight of men’s ministry and director over training.

Casey Bratcher / XAi Co-Director

Casey Bratcher serves as a co-director of UNT Chi Alpha’s international student ministry (XAi). He has been involved with Chi Alpha since he came to UNT his freshman year in 2007. Casey is currently studying Economics at UNT and plans to work full time in campus ministry upon graduating. Though his primary role is with internationals, he also fills many other needs throughout Chi Alpha.

Liz Pals serves as a co-director of UNT Chi Alpha’s international student ministry (XAi). Liz first connected with UNT Chi Alpha her freshman year in 2007 and has been actively involved in international ministry ever since. Liz received her bachelors degree in Hospitality in 2011. Though Liz’s primary role is with internationals, she also coordinates most of Chi Alpha’s events and she serves as a liaison to the Chi Alpha district office.

Megan Welborn / Administration

Megan Welborn serves as UNT Chi Alpha's office administrator and as Nathan's personal assistant. Megan is an alumnus of UNT Chi Alpha and joined the staff team in August of 2011. Megan received her bachelors degree in Hospitality Managment and plays a key role in coordinaing many events for the ministry. Megan fills vital responsibilities for the day to day operations of Chi Alpha.

Andrew Heimbaugh / Worship Director

Andrew Heimbaugh serves as the UNT Worship Director as well as the North Texas District Worship Director. Andrew graduated from UNT in 2010 with a degree in music, and then spent one year studying worship ministry at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Andrew's responsibilities with Chi Alpha include leading worship on Tuesday's during Realize as well as raising up and training students who have a passion for music and worship. Andrew also leads worship at district and area Chi Alpha conferences throughout the year.
